Important Update

Hi guys, I got some news. ichigo_icons is closing down! But don't be sad, as I will continue to make and post icons, just at a different place. All icons I make from now on will be posted at violetterosa, so friend that comm if you want to continue to see my future updates!

Now to clarify some points:

Will the icons that are already here, stay here?
Yes, they will. This journal will from now on function as archive.

Do I change the credit?
No, I rather you didn't. Credit, you see, is mainly used so that people who see an icon and like it, know where to go to find it. So all icons posted here remain credited to ichigo_icons, and all icons I will post at violetterosa will be credited to violetterosa.

Why are you making this change?
Because change is good. Really. And also because there are some advantages to an icon comm over an icon journal. And because I run violetterosa with my best friend, who is fun to be with.

Thank you for showing an interest in my work all these years, and I hope to see you over at violetterosa!

I'd originally planned for 30, but the 30th one SUCKED. So there :p Just trying some stuff out with colour and keeping things simple. Funny that I never made strawberry icons before, isn't it? Ironic sidenote, though: I'm allergic to strawberries :p

Saitou Takumi is a 24 year old Japanese actor, known best right now for his role of Oshitari Yuushi in the Tenipuri musicals and his role of Arisada in the television series Princess Princess D.

Trying something new. I think it came out nicely :) Messing around with colour layers, and adding some things I've used before like white text boxes and borders. Original? Maybe not, but still nice :p

Now, textless icons are NOT bases. I know most of these are really simple, but they're supposed to be. Don't edit them. Don't add text or brushes or stuff of your own. If you don't like simple icons, don't take them.
